Things had been quiet in the three months since the Cardinal Witches lost their sister Mombi, Witch of the North, to the wickedness and bigotry of the Wizard and his lackeys. That silence came to an end with the sudden appearance of propaganda in the Munchkin villages... propaganda meant to turn them against their long-serving mistress Solana, Witch of the East, and coerce her into abandoning her post and power.
